The committee also absorbed the implications of MSBA Project Advisory 96, which confirmed that costs for the existing pool renovation, any field house, and central administration space are all ineligible for state reimbursement at the town's current rate of approximately 73 percent. One member cautioned against locking in a preference before the interviews, saying "there isn't enough meat in those proposals to say who's one, two, or three," while another urged the Milford representatives to present a unified front, noting the MSBA panel leader stressed the selected firm will be the town's partner for five to seven years.
