Planning Board · Meeting of August 11, 2026

MILFORD — The Milford Planning Board voted 4-1 to approve a contested site plan for a contractor's yard at 225 West Street, over objections from an attorney representing an adjacent medical office that shares the project's only access via a disputed easement. Town Planner Matthew Benoit said the board's review was limited to "site design and site design only," since the use was already approved through a Zoning Board of Appeals special permit in May 2025. Board member Martha L.

White cast the dissenting vote, citing unresolved concerns about whether trash trucks can safely turn from West Street into the site. The board also approved, 4-1, a related stormwater permit, and separately approved site plan amendments for a First Watch restaurant on Fortune Boulevard and two new restaurants at 380 East Main Street, the latter conditioned on Board of Health septic approval.
