Youth Commission approves expenses, reviews building improvements

Milford Youth Commission approves $6,245.78 in warrants for operations, staffing, and programming. The board voted unanimously January 12 to sign warrants including $3,841.54 for office furniture for assistant director and program coordinator positions. Members discussed FY26 director goals including media center progress and front desk staffing expansion.
Staff reported the holiday gift campaign distributed over $60,000 in gifts to more than 300 youth, while GivingTuesday 2025 raised $4,758 and a Milford Cultural Grant awarded $2,415.
