Water Commission balances budget, explores supply upgrades

Water Commission · Meeting of February 18, 2026

Milford Water Commission approves $312,061.88 in expenditures while maintaining annual budget balance. The Commission unanimously approved payroll warrants totaling $105,892.69 and bills payable totaling $206,169.19 at its February 18 meeting. Member Philip Ciaramicoli noted increases in overtime charges attributed to recent collective bargaining agreement changes negotiated by the Select Board.

Despite price increases, the department remains 55 percent expended and on budget; concerns over Echo Lake reservoir status, however, prompted the Commission to direct General Manager David Condrey to explore capacity improvements at Clark's Island wellfield.
