Select Board approves National Grid utility pole on Birch Street

Milford Select Board approves utility pole for electrical system improvement. The board unanimously approved installation of a 50-foot utility pole on Birch Street to support National Grid's new electrical recloser, designed to limit power outages. The body also unanimously appointed Michele Creamer to the Council on Aging at the recommendation of council Chair Dino DeBartolomeis and recognized the Milford Youth Center's receipt of the Bernon Family Branch Red Triangle Award from the Hockomock Area YMCA for pandemic remote-learning partnerships and ongoing collaborations.

Select Board member Michael K. Walsh offered to work with Cairo Barlow on her proposal to expand the Milford Bus Route 14.
