Most Milford Deeds Recorded In Late July Lack Disclosed Sale Prices
The Worcester County Registry of Deeds recorded 12 Milford property transfers from July 24 to July 27. Only two disclosed a sale price: $8,050 for 20 West Walnut St. and $45,000 for 42 Claflin St., the period's top sale, with a median of $26,525 across those two. The other 10 deeds listed no consideration amount. Seven of the 12 transfers named a bank, credit union or mortgage-processing entity as buyer or seller, and three involved same-family or trust transfers, patterns that suggest much of the period's deed activity was foreclosure-related or intra-family rather than conventional home sales.
