Milford Personnel Board approves 3 percent COLA for FY27

MILFORD — The Milford Personnel Board unanimously approved a 3 percent Cost of Living Adjustment for FY27 after Finance Director Zack Taylor recommended the increase against union settlement patterns of 2.5 to 2.75 percent. The board also unanimously appointed Tim Aicardi as Alternate Building Commissioner at Grade 11, Step 6, earning $65.28 per hour for 25 weekly hours; Building Commissioner John Erickson confirmed no conflicts with Aicardi's part-time Hopedale position. The board cut vacation accrual waiting periods from five to three years 15 days and from ten to seven years 20 days, and revised earned-leave eligibility to one full calendar year of service, retroactive to January 1, 2026.
