MILFORD — Finance Committee reviews four departmental FY2027 budget proposals without taking formal votes. Building Commissioner John Erickson reported replacing a retiring administrative assistant with a part-time inspector and implementing July permit fee increases to offset the staffing change. IT Director Chris George outlined a budget dominated by software licensing, with consulting costs retained as a cost-effective alternative to permanent hiring.
