Commission on Disability plans March fair

Milford Commission on Disability approves accounts, identifies budget constraints. The Commission approved its Treasurer's Report showing $16,943.26 in the Handicapped Fines Account (down $9,375 from the prior period), $706.59 in Miscellaneous Expenses, and $25.40 in the Commission fund. Member Michael Visconti reported that the Town Finance Department will not permit scholarships and donations as budget line items; they must be expensed from donations received.
The Commission is planning a Family Fun and Disability Awareness Fair for March 14, with Vice Chair Erin LaPrad handling informational flyers and Chair Julie Gonzalez investigating sponsorships up to $500.
