Commission converts FY27 budget to general fund format

MILFORD — Commission on Disability converts FY27 budget to general fund structure. Chair Julie Gonzalez led the motion to eliminate line-item categories for the $1,130 budget, which had been split into Events ($300), Supplies ($30), Marketing ($300), and IT ($500), in favor of expense tracking during the fiscal year to inform future allocation decisions. The vote passed 4-1, with Michael Visconti dissenting, arguing that a proper budget requires line items.
Vice Chair Erin LaPrad announced she will not renew her appointment effective July 1, 2026, creating three vacant seats on the seven-member commission.
