Board of Assessors · Meeting of May 20, 2026

Milford Board of Assessors confirms 2026 equalized valuations totaling $6.463 billion in assessed property value. Chair Joshua Lioce led the meeting with members Paul Simas and Steven Borges and Assessor Administrator Jennifer Sclar reviewing the Bureau of Local Assessment's figures. The board discussed how equalized valuations affect state aid distribution, noting that towns with higher property values absorb proportionately more regional costs and receive less state aid.

The board also interviewed Genevieve Bellavance as a candidate for the vacant Administrative Specialist position.
