Milford Board of Assessors approves fiscal year 2027 budget with salary increases. Chair Joshua Lioce led the board, alongside Members Paul Simas and Steven Borges, in reviewing the departmental budget featuring general expenses of $148,350, unchanged from the prior year, and salaries budgeted at $363,534 for fiscal year 2027, up $15,960 from the current year's $347,574. Assessor/Administrator Jennifer Sclar attributed the increase to contractual salary obligations.
The board also voted unanimously to pursue external recruitment for an office vacancy after interviewing an internal candidate.
