Milford Zoning Board denies residential kennel permit for 1 Esther Drive following close vote. The board voted 3-2 to approve a special permit for Regiane Ferreira to keep five dogs, but the motion fell short of the required approval threshold. Neighbors testified to over a year of persistent barking complaints, with Lucia Coplan of 3 Esther Drive saying the noise made it "very difficult to go outside" and negatively impacted her family's quality of life.
In separate business, the board unanimously approved an amended variance for Home National Realty Corporation at 100 Medway Road, correcting a transcription error in lot frontage and width dimensions.
