Board approves two liquor license amendments, Congress Street safety project

Milford Select Board approves amendments to two liquor licenses and traffic safety project. The board unanimously approved 140 Bar & Grill's conversion from common victualler to a non-transferrable on-premises all alcoholic beverages license. It also unanimously approved amendments to Noble Brazil, Inc., including a DBA change to Brazilian Flame BBQ, appointment of Elson Goncalves as manager, and authorization for live entertainment Tuesday through Sunday, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The board uniformly approved a state-funded conversion of the Congress Street intersection at West Walnut Street and Walnut Street to a four-way stop, designed to reduce pedestrian accidents in an area of high foot traffic near the Town Park and Memorial School.
